Beyond the streets
Walls gallery juni/ juli 2011. A street art influenced expo. A nice arrangement of work made by some more known and unknown people from the scene. It was time for something new. For this expo i brought some older work (the black and white pieces on cardboard that were from the open atelier dagen, i brought those on request) some new pieces in yellow /black /sketch/ style, a set of lino's and some big new pieces that need a bit of explaining. The idea was to make graffiti more abstract, focus more on the details. For this set i made some graffiti around town and cut a piece from it, framed it and put a picture of the graffiti with the missing piece with it so the whole picture to make it complete, you pretty much own a piece of street. In time on the street the piece wil vanish, a small piece will survive.(click picture for next one)
